Turisthytte - traditional tourist cabin in the
heart of the Aurland valley, just off highway 50,
with over 100 years history.
The cabin provides the perfect
base for walks in the Aurland valley and mountains,
or for excursions to nearby attractions such as the
Flåm railway, the Sognefjord and Borgund
stave church. You can set off to Hallingdal or
travel towards Bergen.
The cabin is famous for its
excellent cuisine, serving traditional Norwegian
food - good, homemade fare from farming days. The
cabin also has a dining room, lounge with real log
fire, TV lounge, sitting room and sauna.
Fully licensed. Good fishing and
hunting. Rooms with 1 to 4 beds. Cabins with 4, 5
and 10 beds. Reasonably priced, discount available
for members of Den Norske
Turistforening.
